Meet the man behind the piano keys!
Tim Dueñas was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a state track star and a stellar athlete. It wasn’t until he became a teenager and wanted to join a band, that piano stole his heart.
After receiving his Bachelors of Arts degree in Music at Arizona University, Tim took off to San Francisco and tickled the keys at every piano lounge and jazz bar that would let him.
He started a family and moved to Sonoma County and has lived there for the last 30 years, playing shows at the Luther Burbank Center—now called the Wells Fargo Center— and at weddings, events, restaurants, and farmers markets each year. While he loves to improvise on the keys, he learns hundreds of new songs each year, from Bach to Bruno Mars, to accommodate the requests of his clients.
Tim has always had a passion for latin music, and is proud to be the founder of a Latin Jazz Trio, that he regularly plays and performs with around the Bay Area.
